Cincinnati:
In Need of Change

"The moral test of government is how that government treats those who are in the dawn of life, the children; those who are in the twilight of life, the elderly; and those who are in the shadows of life - the sick, the needy and
the handicapped."
- Hubert Horatio Humphrey,
US Vice President

To learn more about why dairy products are the first thing you should give up see www.notmilk.com

An organization called Vegan Outreach has a lot of great information at www.veganoutreach.org

Their 32 page pamphlet that will help you with what to eat can be seen here How to Eat Cruelty Free A great resource is the site www.pcrm.org which is the organization Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine.

Author John Robbins, the founder of EARTHSAVE has a great site with many inspiring articles at www.foodrevolution.org
I particularly like the articles titled "A moving letter" and "Food, Racism and Health". John is an heir to the Baskin Robbins ice cream empire but has rejected the family business and now puts all his effort to educate people on the dangers of the meat and dairy in your diet and the catastrophic effects those industries have on the environment. His new book "Healthy at 100" is a great read.

Dr John McDougal is a leader in offering his patients a better way to rid themselves of the "western diseases". His new DVD just out in June 2007 contains so much great information I recommend it for everyone.
